Thinking about A Serious Man. No Coen bros movie has grown more in my love for it. Deeply Jewish in ways far beyond just the setting. I was 13 when it came out, having just had my own Bar Mitzvah, and what the movie means to me has changed with my life. Stuhlbarg is incredible.

Take it from the legend himself. This movie absolutely flattened me (and I loved it so, so much).

Anyone else get a unique rush out of from waking up from a nightmare and realizing it was only a dream? Like the most harrowing kind of “seize the day” energy.
