One hopes, with perhaps too much naïveté for today’s world, that the American people will appreciate Biden’s “We Before Me” approach and reflect on what an impressive person he has been and still is - thereby deflating Trump’s thus far effective strategy of deceit and populism.

Choices for Youth provides critical supports to youth and young families in our province. I spoke to Executive Director Jen Crowe this morning, shared my concern and emphasized that CFY is a valued community partner of our government.

One hopes this is bureaucratic churn not matching the political intent; that said, I do not recognize the federal Liberals I ardently supported, and this is another log on that fire. As a member of CFY’s Board of Directors, this one is especially puzzling and heartbreaking.

I don't pretend to know it all but in my line of work I see the differences choices for youth makes. They provide shelter counseling and assistance to some of the most vulnerable. Every day at court they show up and lend needed support when little or no other support exists.

We're thinking differently. Our new approach eliminates the traditional "hire-back" process for Articled Clerks, allowing 2L Summer Students to advance seamlessly from Articled Clerks to Associates at Stewart McKelvey. bit.ly/4dESl2Z

Bottcher calling weight constantly down the sheet - a skip’s dream. Having a second skip should make this team unstoppable once they gel.

In conversation with Brad Jacobs after an intense and charged day of curling here in St. John’s. Really thoughtful stuff. Reflective to be sure. Believes the electric atmosphere is what curling needs. Here are his thoughts after two victories to make it into the final.

Trudeau cites how “Canadians fought and died” beside you. Cites Iranian hostage crisis. Hurricane Katrina. La fires. 911. “We were always there”. He is not wrong to cite these key moments. The sense of betrayal is palpable.
