Politics aside, why is AI scolding the user (horribly at that)? My hammer doesn't lecture me on how to use it, so why is ChatGPT? A tool is a tool, unless it's not and serves another purpose.

If OpenAI's transition from non-profit to for-profit has no repercussions, or previous parties aren't allowed to partake and made whole, how can this not be deleterious for similar non-profits (re: funding)?

Is this truly only about AI? Or, is AI a scapegoat? If your company over-hired for decades like Twitter did pre-Elon Musk, why admit you were loose during the ZIRP era? AI is no doubt responsible for some, but all? Either way, this sucks; my prayers go out to the impacted.

I'm not sure if @levelsio as ever worked at a large corporation, but the reason niche markets exist isn't because of technical limitations, it's because of organizational limitations. Big Corps are Big Bureaucracy. It's a monumental challenge to allocate capital and labor
