Might stick my neck out here If you teach people that "therapy" can be done with worksheets and manuals and strategies, how is using chatgpt any different? How is it any different to the hordes of therapists on reddit/fb asking "can anyone suggest resources for depression"

As well as advice, when some one asks for "coping strategies" I have (delicately) pointed out that Google is out there and basically all of the coping strategies are searchable, so what's stopping them? This a good way to acknowledge the unconscious search for a relationship
