We know cycling has benefits for those who do it. But investing in cycling benefits everyone living in a city, even if they don't cycle. By quantifying these societal impacts, Decisio shows how to get cycling on the transport agenda: Bikenomics! dutchcycling.nl/knowledge/blog…

The Regina Car Share is going to #electricvehicles! They already have two EVs in their fleet. One more way to reduce #emissions while also skipping the need to always use a car when you can share instead. Can check it out until 5pm today at Victoria Park John "Saskboy" Klein #yqr

Exactly, we shouldn’t have to fundraiser for food banks, housing, healthcare. Our taxes should cover these social services. The fact that we have normalized this has helped governments avoid scrutiny and defer our tax dollars. Now they rub our noses in it with cookies too.

Remember when our government bet on the film industry dying and cutting all incentives here. I would love to see the quantifying effects this decision had on tourism, service industry and emigration. #sask mpa-canada.org/what-we-do/dri…

Mhm, did the vehicle drive itself. Or did the person kill the cyclist? We don’t ever say a gun killed another person do we?

District Brewing is excited about the outcomes of the Catalyst Committee’s goals. A revitalized city centre and Warehouse District will be beneficial to us as a business and as individual citizens. We disagree with the steps the Catalyst Committee is taking to achieve those goals

After the City of Regina announced a number of new projects meant to help revitalize the warehouse district and downtown, some are concerned there are more pressing issues the city should be focused on. trib.al/Pq9nRwP

Remember, when the fresh snow flies in your city, it reveals how much we’ve over-designed our streets for cars making them faster & more dangerous, and how much space we could reclaim for people & public life. We call them #sneckdowns. HT Urban Cycling Institute 🚲 

This brought me to tears this morning. Last night a man experiencing homelessness found his way to our suburban street. He was rummaging through vehicles. We didn't hear anything, but one of my neighbors did. They went out to talk to him, saw he was disoriented and freezing 1/

Now is a great time for citizens of Regina to email your city councillors, MLAs, MPs, and your neighbours to do something, ANYTHING for our unhoused neighbours. An encampment that about 20 people have been sleeping in burned down tonight. THANKFULLY no one was hurt.
