if you want to become an entrepreneur and don't have much to your name, a software biz is still your best shot at wealth generation. at least when you fail - and you will fail for a while before you succeed - you won't have crippling debt or leftover inventory in your kitchen

no serious business is going to vibe code a spreadsheet or an email server. why would they spend time and mental capacity on non-core competencies that will be worse in every way (i don't even like zoho)

i can count 30, maybe 40 days in a year where i work a lot and make the most progress for that year. on other days, i either do some admin work or just can't bring myself to do anything.

now that i almost finished reading LotR, I wish they didn't do Aragorn dirty. he wasn't a reluctant king - he knew exactly who he was and what his quest was.

i want to build a bookkeeping app. i still manually reconcile 3000+ transactions every year, while xero keeps jacking up prices every 4 months. how hard could it be?
