“All colleges, whether private or public, should implement policies that 1) are need-based and, thus, equity-centered; and 2) recognize that the cost to attend #college is far more than simply the cost of tuition” - Mamie Voight lght.ly/jemnoed via Marketplace

Starting today at #AACC2023 in a session with Achieving the Dream Dallas College Coahoma Community College on urban and rural enrollment strategies that connect with and advance student access and success goals.
This work Coahoma Community College on improving retention and enrollment is impressive. With their Achieving the Dream coach and data, the college focused on gateway course completion, first year developmental course completion and students earning less than a 2.0 in the 1st year to drive gains.
Thank you to the Woodward Hines Education Foundation for supporting this Achieving the Dream work in Mississippi with Coahoma Community College.
