Our new paper for the coastal plain is online now. A 3D regional seismic Vs model 💯💯💯, and multiple new papers for the coastal plain are on the way.

I was happy to co-chair a technical session with my colleagues from GFZ, UC Berkeley, and University of Potsdam on 2024 SSA Anchorage, Alaska. I’m glad to see so many colleagues are interested in this topic “site response analysis”. I also presented my recent work.#SSA2024

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to visit Japan. It was another amazing experience at the 8ICEGE in Osaka, right after the SSA. I shared one of my recent works on near-surface attenuation and discussed the importance of high-frequency attenuation for future research.

Shoutout to CEE Postdoctoral Researcher Chunyang Ji who received the Paul Andrew Spudich Travel Grant from SSA! Ji's research focuses on the modeling and assessment of high-frequency ground motions. loom.ly/OlFQpl8
