As I watch whats happening at Columbia University; I think of all the students for whom graduation was never assured and represents years of hard work on the part of themselves and their family. I really hope they get the graduation they deserve.

I discovered MathJax yesterday. And now I'm even more puzzled why markdown + static sites isn't more common for publishing technical articles.

I'm experimenting with implicitly collecting human feedback to improve an AI for devops. I see lots of people opting for shiny, new observability tools. Here’s a post extolling the merits of reusing your existing logging infrastructure. foyle.io/docs/blog/logf…

I was trying Warp yesterday; their notebook feature is pretty nice. With all of Warp 's features (e.g. inline editors; collaboration; workflows etc...); Do IDEs and terminals start converging?

It seems like prompt/LLM libraries could solve this observability problem just by using the standard python logging library and different logging levels. Is the reason they don't an oversight or is there something I'm missing about the logging library?

Anyone using registries to publish and distribute CLIs? I.e as a replacement for GitHub releases page? What tools work well for building these images and unpacking them to install them? krane seems like it works pretty well for the latter

It boggles my mind how difficult it is to enter a hyperlink in the Gmail Mobile app. Why can't I right click and edit the link as I can in every Google web app?
