PLEASE get formal interpretation for your patients, ESPECIALLY in acute settings. Of course someone will look agitated and even psychotic if they have no idea what you're saying and why they're being detained. Heartbreaking and infuriating.

Saddened by the massive role Asian Americans (especially Chinese Americans) have had in opposing affirmative action in the US. Similar sentiments are pervasive in many Asian Canadians as well. Equity for groups systematically excluded from academia is well worth fighting for.
