To all the courageous, resilient and compassionate women in the HNMCS community and in our lives, Happy International Women's Day!

Instead of wishing women a happy women’s day let’s acknowledge that this past year women took the brunt of the pandemic as mothers, caregivers, PSWs, nurse, teachers, etc and a disproportionate # left the workforce demonstrating that the burden of care still falls on women.

Our children are missing out on so much. Outdoor recreation spaces like playgrounds are among the last places where kids can just be kids. With proper precautions, these places can be safe. We urge the government to reconsider these closures
