Great thread by John T. Saxon, MD and an excellent learning case for me recently. Only one predictor of valve infolding to add, and that’s that it’ll happen during your 4:30 PM case! Glad for a vigilant team, the patient got a great result
Selection of recent cases UVA Cardio with a TAVR-in-TAVR, TAVR-in-SAVR, TAVR-in-SU-AVR, and a ViViViV TAVR. Great training to prepare for lifetime management of aortic stenosis. What seems atypical will be our average week's cases in the near future!
