As some have identified, this valve was in-folded. We successfully retrieved the valve and put in a new one. I want to expand on this issue a bit. 🧵

Great thread by John T. Saxon, MD and an excellent learning case for me recently. Only one predictor of valve infolding to add, and that’s that it’ll happen during your 4:30 PM case! Glad for a vigilant team, the patient got a great result
