Learning how to answer questions on a timeline in READ 180 so we made ones about our lives! After presenting, we answered questions about each other’s timelines! We love how user friendly this timeline maker is from ReadWriteThink.org #WeAre44 #read180

Their homework was to become an expert on an assigned math problem. The next day each student made a video teaching their problem. Then, the students had to solve everyone’s problems and could use the videos for assistance! #math180 #weare44

Working out for an hour is difficult for anyone so I thought I’d add some extra motivation for the Wellcats! They loved finding different machines to work each body part and taking a break to color in between exercises! I’m proud of the hard work they put in!

My students were so excited to get their postcards back from their 5th grade pen pals! It’s been fun for me to get to know our incoming students as well! We finished replying today and eventually will get to meet our pen pals in person. #gwms #weare44

We learned a lot about plants and trees today at MortonArboretum! The students loved using the iPad microscopes to look at roots, leaves and bark! #WeAre44

We gave the students 932 dollars to split evenly among their group of 5. They came up with many different strategies but kept ending with a pile of money left over 🤷‍♀️Finally, they realized long division was the best way to solve! #handson #FUNctionalfriday #weare44
