This week, our Chief Executive, Lisa Wimborne, was invited to be the guest of honour at Jewish Care's MIKE youth leadership programme awards. As a former graduate of the programme she encouraged the current participants to make the most of the programme and all it offers.
Huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Friends of JBD Golf Day at Hartsbourne Golf Club last week which raised £30,000. Thanks also to our event sponsors @NCF_Furniture & Galliard Homes, our hole sponsors and all the advertisers in the brochure.
Tenants at some of our developments have recently enjoyed talks from author, Nadia Ragozhina. Nadia’s book is a remarkable family memoir that tells the story of two brothers who were separated and would never meet again. Thank you, Nadia, for joining us and sharing the story.
Huge well done to our amazing runners in yesterday’s TCS London Marathon. Thank you to Simone and David for running for us and helping to raise vital funds to ensure we can continue to offer housing and support for those who need us. #charity #fundraising #londonmarathon2022
We are delighted to have received National Lottery funding to cover the running costs of our minibus in North West London. The minibus takes tenants to local supermarkets and Kosher shops and is a lifeline for helping tenants to remain independent. Thank you The National Lottery Community Fund 👏
Huge thank you for your continued support Rob Rinder
Thank you so much to the Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis for joining us and speaking at our inaugural concrete pour at our eighth building, Ephraim Court.
Yesterday, we marked the inaugural concrete pour at our new development, Ephraim Court, in Mill Hill East. Joined by our Patron, Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, Matthew Offord, our Presidents, Trustees and key supporters, the ceremony marked the next stage of construction work beginning on site.
