A wonderful taste of Welsh life for the Year 1 children St Margaret's Prep Calne. Facts were shared on daffodils, Welsh cakes were eaten and a visit from Myfanwy was a great source of information and entertainment. She rose to the challenge of pronouncing the longest place name in Wales!

Lucky Y5 St Margaret's Prep Calne got to finish the climb and reach the summit of Everest. It was a challenge but we were definitely up for it and had time to spare. Well done to everyone in school for a great job!

‘The Elf on the Shelf’ has been a bit mischievous during Forest School. Father Christmas’ helpers found him asleep in the outdoor workshop. His blanket was very thin so they used natural objects to decorate it with thick baubles. When he woke they sang ‘Six in the Bed’.
