My advocacy 4 education equity encompasses many issues like FMG that’s affecting D performance of our girls. It’s 5 good years of learning & relearning. D work of a Change Agent is not for D faint hearted & it has been rewarding. I’m grateful 2 all our partners who’ve made this dream a reality. As we prepare 2 SCALE, I pray for more partners 2 join Ireland in Sierra Leone 2 scale this work.🙏
This week Teach For Sierra Leone participated in D maiden National NGO Week in SL. Starting off with a health walk to an engaging conference with Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh delivering a thought provoking speech that left many EDs to rethink their fundraising & sustainability strategies.
It hurts me so much when D citizens of Salone R taken 4 granted. How on earth can Musayeroh Barrie FANDAY TURAY Esq allow Air Sierra Leone 2 operate a long haul flight with NO ENTERTAINMENT. Hello is this a joke or something? Pls get this wacky & refurbished aircraft off our airfield.
2day, I signed an MoU with Lena Marshall of L &M Foundation 2 help address energy poverty & improve learning outcomes in rural schools in SL. 500 solar lights, provided by SolarBuddy will be distributed 2 learners in 4 schools as part of a pilot project starting in September.
The Mandatory Teacher License Exam is just days away & Teach For Sierra Leone is offering Free Speed Revision sessions 2 help teachers better prepare for this life changing Professional Development Opportunity Successful teachers will now be issued license 2 teach at their right levels.
