While new car sales are not yet a material part of Carvana's business, they are selling for nearly double the list price of the used cars on the retail webpage, taking roughly the same amount of time to sell. $CVNA

This past weekend, Carvana eclipsed 1k new car sales this quarter (including returns). Still not a material part of the business, but growing as a percentage of sales as they purchase more dealerships. $CVNA $STLA

The average CarMax listing last week exceeded Carvana by $256, was ~4 months newer and had ~800 more miles. Hertz online listings are in a different category, being nearly ~5k cheaper, 4 years newer, and 25k less miles. $CVNA $KMX $HTZ

Comparing like sales for Carvana and CarMax this quarter (same year, make, model, trim, and within 1k miles), CarMax is priced $1,281 higher on the hundreds of matches. $CVNA $KMX

Looking at the last ~million cars Carvana listed on their retail page the last ~6 Quarters, just over 300 appear on DriveTime. The most recent Carvana listing that is on DriveTime was listed on Carvana around Halloween. Yes there is a relationship, but the note the volume. $CVNA

Carvana created ~4400 new retail listings yesterday, an all-time high. Already prepping for the tax season surge! $CVNA
