Wow. A whole article on meat eating with just a few lines on the impact on the climate. Saying it’s ‘ok’ to eat red meat is irresponsible. #ClimateChange #GlobalWarming bbc.co.uk/news/health-49…

Please go see @2040Film asap! An uplifting (if slightly optimistic) vision of 2040 if we all immediately tackle the climate & ecological crisis - in cinemas across the UK this weekend. Do not miss!

At this crucial moment for our National Health Service, here's why we're asking, if you want to protect the NHS, then please think again if you've planning on voting Conservative. #GE2019 #VoteNHS

The Conservative Party press office CCHQ Press rebranding themselves as "FactCheckUK" shows what disdain this party and this government has for the truth. The Electoral Commission must investigate and punish this blatant attempt to decieve the public. #LeadersDebate #ITVDebate

These apples have been left to rot because they are too BIG for supermarkets and the profit margins are too small. It’s cheaper to leave them than to pay pickers to collect them. And this my friends is just one of the reasons why humanity is in crisis.

The best cure for a persistent cough is to stop drinking milk. My elderly neighbour had a hacking cough for months but since he started leaving his milk on his doorstep a couple of weeks ago, it seems to have cleared up completely.

New record of measured daily average concentration CO2 in the atmosphere:416.08 ppm. In February(!!) The saddest thing is that this won’t be breaking news. And basically no one understands the full meaning of this. Because we’re in a crisis that’s never been treated as a crisis.

EU has voted yes to spending €29 billion on 32 major gas infrastructure projects that “will lock Europe into burning fossil fuels for generations.” So much for declaring a “climate emergency”.... theguardian.com/environment/20…

Scientists: you should wash your hands because of Coronavirus. People: I'm gonna stop flying, hoard masks, work from home & totally rearrange my life. Also Scientists: the #ClimateCrisis will kill millions - we must use clean power & change how we get to work. People: No way.

How this is described as “stunning” is beyond me. Makes it sound like a wonderful event to witness rather than a precursor to environmental disaster.

"What happens next is up to every one of us." Sir David Attenborough's new documentary this Sunday will explore #Extinction and what we must do to create a world with more wildlife, not less. Essential viewing. fal.cn/3ah6l
