Does the old C64 have slightly worse support for the REU than the newer C64C type models? I have 2 computers, both work 100% fine except one (C64C) can access the full REU, and the older model cannot. (The REU is through an Ultimate 2 cart)

Finally got all the kinks worked out in my old breadbin C64, after another recapping, replacing the sid chip and tweaking some setting in the ultimate II it is now working 100% again! Thanks to everyone who chipped in suggestions 👍
