It's worth noting that almost every country had cavalry at the start of World War Two. Germany actually had a demechanisation programme as they knew fuel would be a problem. Bicycle cavalry (really mounted infantry) was a big success for the Japanese in Malaya.

British Officers Don't Duck rules update 3: I'm fed up with lots of modifiers in combat, this needs to be fast as the emphasis is on the command aspect. Each I it has a rating at each range such as 3/4+ in other words 3D6 hitting on 4+. Only modifier is -1 dice per pin (mini 1).

As we head towards Remembrance weekend, please remember to be kind. If you see a women wearing medals on her left- don’t ask her if they are hers, don’t question her integrity. Those medals are hers and like many others she will be proud to wear them #Remembrance #wornwithpride

Latest Playtest of the British Officers Don't Duck rules. Now adding vehicles. Takeaway points: * Solo learning scenario is working well * Tanks are vulnerable to PIATs when you keep rolling 6s * Reducing movement for pinned units works better than restricting actions

My wife and I were the other side of the river from you (not sure I've been forgiven yet for the timing of our honeymoon) and it was amazing to watch. The Bridge Too Far sequence is amazing to watch but when I found out the engineers went back to do it again!

Supply and Steel is now up on our website (fightclubinternational.org/analogue-games) for FC members along with our other 6 analogue games. The game is also in Tabletop Simulator for those who want to save the printing and cutting. A reminder that membership of Fight Club is totally FREE!

Possibly a long shot but any wargamers or historians have details on the German Schiffsturm (marines) that fought at Arnhem in 1944 (particularly uniform details).

Yesterday's terrain board build, intended as a Waal river crossing board for my British Officers Don't Duck rules it could also be used for the Rhine at Oosterbeek. I will be making other boards extending it to the side or even back across the river for the Waal crossing.
