Farewell social for our fantastic social sec and resident DJ James Murphy! Have the best 3 months in Brisbane James, we will miss you!! Great to meet lots of our new PhD students too The Philharmonic 🌍🍻

Today marked my first (and very jet-lagged) day as a visiting researcher at the University of Queensland. Very excited to be working with Stuart Phinn and RemoteSensing_UQ! I could get used to this view on the commute!

Two months ago we arrived to Brisbane City with Filip Kovařík and found out that James Murphy, who I met at GISRUK 2022, is doing his internship in exactly the same period as we + in the same city on the other side of the world! What are the chances..? 😇 We will miss you! 💙

Shameful behaviour from Liverpool staff El Gato Negro Tapas today, who disrupted our vigil in memory of Leonard Farruku. They ordered us to move, despite not even being on their property, and turned their outside music up so loud we could not hear one another. Very disrespectful

My research fellowship went by very quickly. It has been beneficial in so many ways. I would like to thank the Nottingham Trent University and Dr. Andrew Harris for having me! Also great to meet James Murphy again lad! Got a chance to visit the mighty Anfield too Liverpool FC .
