I ran the Not Ya Mama 5K+ chili run today follow by post race coffee at Black Rifle Coffee . Race was in Calhoun, LA and coffee in Ruston. #healthybodyhealthymind #veteransuicideprevention 🇺🇸

Today, I took part in the #SRABryanBellMemorial5K and paid tribute to his memory. Although it wasn't my fastest time, it's in my top three performances. Plus, I went on to walk three miles and collected another Garmin Badge! Now enjoying my post race coffee. 🇺🇸

This morning was filled with joy and accomplishment as I placed 2nd in my age group at the Holy Angels 5K among friends. The cool temperature and slight wetness invigorated me, and I'm now savoring my post-race coffee at Rhini Coffee new Southern Loop location. 🇺🇸

I looked up my official results from the Death by 5K in Little Rock. I placed 44 out of 108 finishers. In Age Group M 50-59, I placed 4 out of 12. And I was 33rd male out of 64. They were eight that did not finish. This race was definitely a challenge.

The HM this morning was a challenge. The heavy rains wash out part of the course which made it challenging and makes matter worst my bowels had a mind of its own. But I finished with a heartbeat.

The Christmas in July Half Marathon presented a challenge, as I don’t think that I will get it back or recover. It was quite humid this morning which added a challenge. Nevertheless, I continued with determination and completed the race with a consistent heartbeat.
