BREAKING: Superstar outfielder Juan Soto and the New York Mets are in agreement on a 15-year, $765 million contract, sources tell ESPN. It is the largest deal in professional sports history.
NGL I fucking hate this guy. Rooting on Indianas downfall hard this year. Had one of the easiest setups ever to be a likeable guy. Great coach, took over a likeable big name program that hasnt been good in forever, had a cindarella run in year one. But man he fucking sucks.
Completely understand why people think its an overpay. And if the mets traded a haul like this 3 years ago i would have freaked out. But we have so much depth in the farm now and have shown we will continue to develop that depth that I an ok giving up 2 solid/good prospects.
I am beyond excited that we have a mobile QB again. Unless your QB is an NFL talent, its such a disadvantage in college to have a non mobile QB. Mike needs one as well. We have one of the best in the country.
Was just thinking about this call. Had to go digging to find it. One of the craziest things i have ever seen. Still would love to know what happened here.
The yankees and mets are both losing at crazy rates right now. Ive watched a lot of both teams recently. There is a clear difference imo. The yankees are finding ways to lose. Collapsing. The mets are just a straight up bad baseball team. Big difference. Bad offense. Bad pitching
