It’s 5am and here’s my update on the first open-field cucumbers. Out of 450 plants, we’ve lost 11 so far quite normal. The cause wasn’t soil pathogens but insects cutting stems and a bit of water stress. Always seed 5–10% extra seedlings to replace losses. we move!
