Grateful to be together in Zagreb, Croatia for the final COORDINATE consortium meeting. We will reflect on our journey over the last 4 years and the impact we’ve made as a team and our contribution to the next steps of the #GUIDE Research Infrastructure.

Dr Ksenija Perković attended a partnership meeting in Milan as part of the international project N.E.A.R To Guardians. During the meeting, the participants were informed about good practices in Italy and the possibilities of transferring these practices to other countries.

Dr Mateja Sedmak, Dr Zorana Medarić, Dr Ksenija Perković and Dr Nežka Sajinič attended the final meeting of the Coordinate Network (EU) project and the Child Wellbeing: Longitudinal Evidence for Research and Policy conference in Zagreb.

Dr Ksenija Perković and Dr Zorana Medarić attended a meeting of the N.E.A.R. to Guardians project in Spain. The consortium learned about the #Lleida and #Catalan models for the treatment of #UnaccompaniedMinors, the reception and learning centre, and other facilities in Lleida.

Dr. Blaž Lenarčič je na spletnem seminarju, ki je del projekta HUMAN, predstavil, kako smo lani s pomočjo drugega projekta vzpostavili psihološke svetovalnice na dveh osnovnih šolah v Sloveniji, ki se nadaljujejo tudi po koncu projekta.

At the 2025 Herald of Science ceremony in Portorož, Dr. Mateja Sedmak, head of our institute, received the award for top scientific achievements by established researchers. Her work on micreate2020, child well-being (Coordinate Network (EU)), and migrant integration was celebrated.🎉🥳

In April, our colleagues Dr Barbara Gornik, Dr Maja Zadel and Dr Ksenija Perković attended the 34th international conference of ASEN, which took place at Budapest. The main theme was Nationalism & Borders💡.

Blaž Lenarčič & Lucija Dežan held an expert meeting for representatives of youth organisations, NGOs, social work centres, educational institutions, and others. The main topics were the characteristics of digital technologies and online subcultures that radicalise young people😡
