A new account abstraction proposal! This time without requiring any ethereum consensus-layer protocol changes. Work by Kristof Gazso | kristof.eth, yoav.eth, Dror Tirosh, Namra Patel, Tomasz K. Stańczak, myself and others. medium.com/infinitism/erc…

eldefijesus vitalik.eth yoav.eth Tomasz K. Stańczak hey! basically smart contract wallet transactions need to be initiated by a simple (dumb) account. Now instead of having this simple account yourself and keep it filled with eth, you ask the miner to initiate these transactions and, in return, take some money from your account

Ethereum's new account abstraction proposal! How it all began? Our internship program at Nethermind with Kristof Gazso | kristof.eth Namra Patel @notgoldduck How is it going? Co-author and contributor of account abstraction ERC with vitalik.eth et al. medium.com/infinitism/erc…

ERC4337: account abstraction “…if this proposal gets universally adopted, no further work on the execution layer needs to be done for quantum-safety. Users can individually upgrade their wallets to quantum-safe ones.” $ETH #eip4337 #erc4337 github.com/ethereum/EIPs/…

This is what we've been working on for the past couple of months. Implementation coming soon to a blockchain near you.

1/ ERC 4337 adds account abstraction to the Eth L1 via a new app layer standard instead of requiring a protocol change. I'm bullish on the idea that app infrastructure will continue to become adopted via app layer standards or libraries instead of using specialized L1s or L2s.

You can now build on top of ERC-4337 and start testing live on Goerli! Proud to present our work at @nethermindeth in collaboration with OpenGSN.eth and vitalik.eth. Especially great thank you to @jmederos98 at Nethermind (great talent). medium.com/nethermind-eth…

Why is Account Abstraction important? How did it start? What is the endgame? Our very own Nethermind gigabrain Ismael explains! medium.com/nethermind-eth…

I'm super excited about the possibilities that EIP-4337 can bring to Ethereum. You can read where we are and the future of account abstraction here! medium.com/nethermind-eth…

Our technical writer Ismael and Product Manager Kristof Gazso | kristof.eth has put together a great article on what need to know about Account Abstraction. Check it out! medium.com/nethermind-eth…

wondering what you can do with erc-4337's account abstraction? imagine being able to store ALL your eth in a yearnfi vault, then having your smart contract wallet automatically remove just enough to pay for gas costs whenever you transact.

Today’s recommended reading: this fantastic, in-depth post by yoav.eth on security considerations for rollups and fault proofs. Yoav’s contributions to Optimism security research have proven invaluable as we build Cannon.
