Indy Achieves Student Success Manager, Alexis Calvin, presented a natural hair presentation titled “Taking Care of Our Crowns” to 25 TRIO Upward Bound students from Ben Davis High School. This presentation covered taking care of natural hair, the CROWN Act, and how hair impacts identity.

Under The Weather Charity, Inc. is giving away school supplies on July 31st at 5339 Georgetown Rd. from 2-4 pm. Kids must be present and everyone should stay in their cars. First-come, first-served.

Indy Achieves’ @IUPUI coaches are hosting an event called "Dear Stress, Let's Break Up" for our promise scholars. The event will be held on October 3rd from 2 – 4 PM in Taylor Hall 101. The Office of Health and Wellness will present tips on managing stress and time effectively.

Indy Achieves took part in the 15th annual @IUPUI Regatta on the downtown canal. It was great to be a part of the fundraiser for scholarships for IUPUI students while participating in the festivities and campus culture. #yougottaregatta #IndyAchieves

The registration deadline for the upcoming municipal elections in Indiana is October 10th. If you're 18 years old or older by election day, you're eligible to vote, but need to register before the deadline. To register, simply visit indianavoters.com.
