I hope 1.20 will be an epic update. Ancient city portals send you back in time to the ancient city's heyday in a 4th dimension with new biomes and creeper dinosaurs. But it's probably best to keep expectations low. They will probably just send you back to spawn.

Finally got global elite in CS:GO again. That makes two scicrafters with the highest rank since riggi also got it for the first time yesterday. just a matter of time until Chewlacca will get it again as well

I always enjoyed doing things with blocks more than interacting with mobs. A block vote instead of a mob vote would be interesting to change it up. I'm sure there are a lot of good ideas for interesting things blocks can do.

More info about the mob vote from the minecraft.net article. Presented this way the tuff golem also sounds more interesting, but I still don't think the rascal would be a good choice. I'm fine with sniffer or tuff golem. minecraft.net/en-us/article/…

Seems like Mojang really made sure to not overpromise. They said there will be more things in the update. The stuff shown is nice, but nothing to get excited about for me. Let's see what "more" is before we judge the update. I was definitely hoping for more.

Lol, I got an angry message by someone I never heard of accusing me that I stole his mob farm for my skyblock world and I just made it square instead of round. There's not much you can claim credit for when it comes to a pathfinding mob farm. No coincidence they look similar...

Is was thinking hoppers being able to refill the new bookshelves would be awesome. We could hook up different chests containing a specific enchantment to a bookshelf and then conveniently retrieve those books when we want to combine them without having to open a GUI

Was a bit weird yesterday to see Mojang showing how easy it as to create custom mobs and how everyone can do it with their tool and then hearing it's not possible to add multiple mobs in one update.

Mojang say they carefully evaluate if new features take away anything from existing gameplay and make tree farming for non decorative materials basically obsolete in the next update 🤔

I could have started skyblock with bamboo instead of trees and it would have been definitely easier this way, just to put it into perspective that this definitely changes the meta.

Sorry for the lack of videos lately. Been really ill (some flu, corona test was negative) the last 6 days and couldn't do much besides staying in bed. I'm doing better, but I'll need a couple more days to get to full strength.

At this point more players would use the difference between QC and non QC pistons than there are players that use the difference between "cracked polished blackstone bricks" and "polished blackstone bricks". So many ideas for new pistons out there. Time to add some.
