I spent an hour weeding the I E Levenshulme beds today, and met Noreen, who had sown some coriander seeds in one of them a week ago. I'll add a courgette plant and bean seeds next week, and Noreen said she'll water them - result! #community #levenshulme #GYOforWellbeing

Beds weeded today, ready for more planting soon: sage, a few different thymes, welsh onion, some late flowering herbaceous and probably bulbs in Sept. It was really nice to meet the man (in photo) who regularly litter picks the area :) Some cool new art just down the path too...

Enjoyed a bit of weeding tonight. The perennial kale and broccoli, from @BackyardLarder, are doing well. Intend to plant herbs tomorrow if there's time.
