We’re proudly independent—like choosing your own path on a summer hike. Your co-op makes decisions right here at home, not in some far-off boardroom. 🥾 #SummerWithTheCoop

Why can service interruptions happen in extreme temperatures? The grid is a complex network of interconnected parts. If consumer needs exceed generation, service interruptions are possible. Reduce usage during the hottest time of day! Stay up-to-date: iowarec.org

When storms roll in or challenges hit, co-ops stick together—like fireworks and cookouts. We help our neighbors, so lights and cookout playlist stay on. ⚡ #SummerWithTheCoop

Stay safe this school year! Remember: 💡 Pencils and paper clips should not be put in outlets. 💡 Unplug items from an outlet by holding the base of the cord, never yank the cord out. 💡 Don’t play on the green transformer boxes or around power lines or poles.
