It's great that RAS Diversity are taking bullying and harassment so seriously, and that a plenary at #NAM2024 is devoted to the recent survey results.
Professor Chiaki Kobayashi of the University of Hertfordshire is presented with the 2024 George Darwin Lectureship. She is an internationally recognised leader in the field of chemical evolution of galaxies, and a pioneer in the study of the origin of the elements. Congratulations!
Next up the Winton Award for #Astronomy is presented to Dr Chris Lovell. Chris Lovell is an exceptionally promising post-doctoral scientist whose work is being used to understand some of the earliest forming galaxies discovered by NASA Webb Telescope. #NAM2024
