i randomly get hit by a reminder that life is so long and that i haven’t experienced some of my best days. oh the places we will go, the food we will try, the people we will meet, the love we will experience, the skills we will learn, the laughter that will fill our bellies!

As much as I complain about work. I need to realize how blessed I am. A lot of people out here can’t even get a job. Learning how to stop taking things for granted

Hardest thing for me to grasp as an adult is you have to keep showing up no matter how you feel. You gotta do this shit sad, do it heartbroken, do it grieving, do it tired. Life doesn’t care, it waits for nobody, you just have to keep going

Sometimes I have to remember I’m constantly experiencing a lot of firsts. So much of my life includes things I’ve never done before, and I have to be more gentle when I don’t always get it right. I’m still very much a student.

People are either going to act as the mirror, window, or the door for you. Let me explain this theory:

Allow people to have their moods, and allow those moods to have nothing to do with you. What they do is not a reflection of you. Their actions represent them and where they're at in their growth. It's a good practice to not relate other people's internal wars back to yourself.

I hope that when you look back on your life, you have empathy for the well-intentioned version of yourself that didn’t always get things right. I hope you give yourself credit for trying, persisting, and showing up—even when things didn’t go as planned.

Your authenticity alone is a powerful healing force. Just by showing up and existing, you are doing your part. People will either feel inspired, enamored, threatened, or triggered by your natural state - and none of it will have anything to do with you. Remember why you are here.

You’ll be called vindictive if you stand up for what’s right, selfish if you do what’s best for you, cruel for reacting to mistreatment, difficult for having strong boundaries, and crazy when they know you’re right. This is why it is truly important to know yourself.

The most tiring thing about adulting to me is how CONSTANT it is. There is ALWAYS some shit to sort out. you're chilling' means you're probably just ignoring the million things on your to-do list.

you need to start before you’re ready because you become ready by starting. you figure out what works by seeing what doesn’t work. there is very little that you can *think* yourself into a reality-approved answer to. you need to live out your questions by experimenting with them.

You can do more than you think. Don't limit yourself
