Right so slack have changed their free policy so now it's not useful as a forum. What is a good alternative to allow hods to communicate? We have access to office365 enterprise but don't really have funds. Any suggestions? Don't want WhatsApp as notifications and search are poor

Looking forward to session 2 of MLM today. This one is all about teaching and learning. Tickets still on sale for those that want to join. You'll get access to the remaining 5 sessions and a recording of session 1.

12 hours in and we have already had some good conversations about: ✅ Options for triple ✅ Curriculum hours ✅ Sequencing energy through a 5 year journey ✅ Pros and cons of recording lessons for obs training Not a bad start

@hodscisci is anyone having issues with the new tap covers which have been recommended by Cleapss to prevent liquids being placed up taps?? Trying to do any organic ks5 reactions is near impossible!

Forcing your curriculum into neatly packaged "lessons" does violence to the subject and ignores the responsivity and dynamism that is needed for effective teaching over time. It's one of the reasons I'm enjoying Springboard Science so much - there aren't "lessons" - there are

Excited for a #CogSciSci conference again after missing the last two! It’s a subject community which has helped me so much throughout my teaching career & one which I’ve had the honour of being a part of from its conception back in 2017. Fri 31st May 2024 will be special!

This video captures our school ethos so well. We think hard about how to support *teachers* to become their best selves at Ark Soane Academy so they can support *pupils* to become their best selves: m.youtube.com/watch?v=oFJMDB…
