Our November 1 Meeting will be include a remembrance service, all Brethren welcome.

On Thursday 1st November the Lodge of Hengist No195 held a Service of Remembrance to commemorate the Centenary of the end of the Great War for Civilisation 1914 - 1918 and in particular two brethren of the Lodge... facebook.com/hengist.lodge/…

In particular, our 'Empty Chair' remembrance Service on 1 November included certificates and photos of the two members of the Lodge of Hengist who lost their lives in The Great War: Bro Edwin Megan who died 4th March 1918 and Bro Frank Ernest Game who died on 7th June 1918.

Worshipful Master, Wardens and Officers who participated in the Lodge of Hengist's Empty Chair Remembrance Ceremony on 1 November 2018.

Our September meeting includes a talk “PC on the Bleat” (sic) when one of our members tells us about a police career. Should be an interesting evening - September 5th, close tyle at 18:00.

The Lodge of Hengist was Consecrated on 23 November 1770 - 250 Years Ago today. We hope as we enter our 250th year to have the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in due form.

It is with deep sadness we announce that W.Bro Alfred George Lee PPJGW passed to the Grand Lodge above peacefully on 26th April 2021at the age of 94. One of life's characters who was always cheerful, sincere, helpful, an excellent Mentor and a true Freemason.

On June 7th Hengist lodge will be conducting a live third degree ceremony on behalf of Football Lodge No 9921.
