What ataxia diagnosis are we 'missing' all the time?Cerebellar ataxia, neuropathy, vestibular areflexia syndrome (CANVAS); adult-onset, slowly progressive neurodegenerative condition; cerebellar ataxia, sensory neuronopathy, and bilateral vestibulopathy; possible dysautonomia.

Is cough a prodrome to cerebellar ataxia neuropathy vestibular areflexia CANVAS/RF1 syndrome? Dry cough develops several years prior to the neurological symptoms (mean 14.2 years); may have GERD and esophageal dysmotility; affects quality of life. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37917234/

This is sad & why it so important to have a holistic medical approach. It’s not just #migraine unless other causes of ear symptoms are assessed & excluded. This case could have been fatal. Same applies to #vestibular symptoms.
