“The rate of depressive symptoms among young people more than doubled during the #pandemic in several countries”,Francesca Colombo, Head of the OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives’s Health Division, presents the key findings of the ‘Health at a Glance’ report.
“We need a change in the #mentalhealth system with meaningful empowerment and cooperation with young people”, Claudia Marinetti, Director @MHESME, identifies the main actions needed to address mental health issues among the younger population.
“Instead of criticising and stigmatising mental health issues, we need to focus on how to improve the reality that causes these problems”, stresses Eleonora Varntoumian, President of European Health Parliament, at today’s Policy Dialogue on the state of #health in the EU.
Better #healthcare is the primary focus of the #EHDS. 💾 MEP Tomislav Sokol stresses the importance of #data sharing for primary and secondary use, particularly for research and innovation. The balance with citizen ownership of health data remains still a core principle.
