What a spectacular challenge! Students were asked to design an exercise used in strength or aerobic training and then code a microbit to keep track of how many they completed. The problem solving, collaboration and creativity was astounding. Exciting times! Micro:bit Educational Foundation

It’s great to see students in 6H excited about using their circuit, coding and electrical knowledge to construct games. Lots of variations. Catapult Tennis! They used their electrical knowledge to reset their catapult each time they shot a ball. It was great to see parents come in to participate. Sometimes this game can be dangerous! Great sportsmanship shown. #FootyColoursDay

Basketball Shooting game designed by 6H students was an excellent addition to our electronic arcade classroom. If the shot made it in the the bottom hoop, it made a light glow and a propeller spin, if it made it in the top hoop, it made a buzzing sound. Janine Lewis had a turn.

6H students designed a claw game using electrical circuits. They wrapped each prize in foil and if anyone managed to pick one up and drop it in the correct position, it would make a buzzing sound notifying you that you have won. A typical claw game, extremely hard and frustrating

Students were given a maths assessment, but what better way than to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. They were given a challenge and the only way they could eat the fruit was to measure the correct weight of each item needed for a fruit salad. #healthylifestyle Nowra Public School Official
