The World Weekend of Prayer has done an amazing task in mobilising prayer for children and young people at risk around the world. How might we give of our time, skills and resources to alleviate suffering in our communities and in other parts of the world?

Brazil passes 500,000 Covid deaths. Happy Child International and its team are thinking about Brazil today and all the families, young people and children who are affected by the pandemic.

"What we see in Brazil is that the number of kids dying with Covid specified as the cause of death is higher than what we are seeing in other countries of the world -- it's 10 times higher," Dr. Ana Luiza Bierrenbach, an epidemiologist at Vital Strategies, told CNN.
