Pride Month will be celebrated across #RedDeer Public starting June 1. A flag raising ceremony and proclamation took place on May 31. At the March 9, 2022 public meeting, the Board of Trustees voted in favour of declaring June as Pride Month each year in the Division #RDPSD

Our next presentation is from rdpschools on Valuing Wellness. They worked with a local Indigenous elder to incorporate Indigenous learnings into their wellness program. #abed #SGA2022

Honouring Treaty 6 & Treaty 7 land, tipis were raised Normandeau School & Don Campbell School. The tipi at Normandeau is a Nehiyaw (Cree) style tipi, while the tipi at Don Campbell is a Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) style tipi. They will be part of the outdoor learning spaces at the schools.
