1/2 UK politics is in absolute tatters, we need major reforms to the entire system. What we need is a system where you stand as an independent MP for your local community and if elected you then join the singular government and gain access to the Houses of Parliament to run the

2/2 country. Polices should then be decided by a vote in parliament and anything not won by a clear majority should be decided by a referendum. This would cure the issue of parties being hard wired to disagree with each other and shit would actually get done and properly!

I’ve been talking about this for a long time it’s shocking. If you compare US salaries to UK salaries in comparable jobs it’s staggering. They don’t have shortages of public sectors workers like police or nurses either because the salaries actually make it a viable career option
