#fcklive

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional

Knowing Better Even if the officer was in front (he wasn't) he would still be at fault for breaking every DHS SOP. He shouldn't let himself be in front of a moving vehicle, he shouldn't fire into a moving vehicle, etc. He created the risk profile that he used to justify deadly force.

New footage from the ICE agent’s, Jonathan Ross’ perspective, recorded with his phone. Critics and use-of-force experts are pointing out that the video confirms the agent intentionally stood in the path of a vehicle trying to leave, a tactic often banned in modern policing

During the Cold War the United States military had 15,000 soldiers stationed in Greenland. That presence has been reduced by 99% to just 150 soldiers today. Denmark has given the US exclusive and full military access to Greenland but the US does not use it. This has nothing to

Maybe I’m too much of a European, but I honestly can’t understand how so many Americans find it perfectly natural to be shot in the head on the spot for the slightest act of disobedience toward any sort of law enforcement. You might wanna revisit that "land of the free" thing.
