Day 1 of our peer-lead #leadership retreat was a real treat. Coaching, Case Clinics & book club! Loads of great insights/challenges/ideas to take back to Vox Liminis & Village Storytelling. Here’s me reading from philosopher/leadership guru Dr. Seuss (we had a very festive meal too!🎄)

Day 2 in full swing. Really good to dig into self-managing organisations with Dan Lyus this morning before an inspiring chat with @juliaunwin - brain now working overtime with thoughts of connection, solidarity and civil society keeping the whole show running. #leadership

First trip to HMP Perth today - great to meet staff who are enthusiastic for #InTune to start in the new year. Always good to find folk who are excited about the work and will champion it from their end.

🚨 unsurprising announcement alert 🚨 these are sad & confusing times for us all. We’ll be looking for the ways we can keep connecting over the weeks and months and hope you’ll be able to join us in one way or another. Be well, and take care of each other.

Telling staff with children that they may need to adopt new working patterns such as early mornings, evenings and weekends is a massive devaluing of the work that is childcare. There’s no way I can look after three children all day and then do a days ‘proper’ work in the evening.

Thinking of all the children having their last day at school for a while. I so wish we weren’t having to do this - but it is essential to help us reduce the impact of #coronavirus. So to all young people - keep studying, but also have some fun (& don’t forget to wash your hands!)

Today is a threshold day. It is my last day at Vox Liminis, after 6 excellent, challenging and important years. I am hanging up my work boots to be a stay at home dad for our three wee guys, and I am everything from sad to delighted. Thanks to all who’ve made this amazing!

I'm back! After 4.5 years of full-time parenting and part-time handyman-ing, I have started a new role with Trussell as Area Manager for North & East Scotland. Really looking forward to getting into the work proper. For now...induction!
