Great morning to get out before the steam start. Lots of people, biking, walking, and cycling going toward Crabtree Creek Mall.

Actually a decent day (relative to the last week) to get out on the greenways. Was not bad with the cloud cover and the heavy tree cover providing shade here on the Abbotts Creek Trail in North Raleigh.

A running segment on Simms Branch Train off Durant Road? Wondered why we saw some people sprinting down the greenway! Come out and run it too!

Might be a bit of rain out there on the greenways this weekend. Possibly some debris. Found this on the Simms Branch Trail in North Raleigh, while running the Sir Walter Running Tour de Walter weekly segment here: buff.ly/46R2De0

Albeit some hot sections like this, the Lake Johnson Trail mostly provides cover (one side hillier than the other of course) for the next week of heat. 🥵🌵♨️🔥
