Priority: Help communities to be heard when new housing/commercial developments are on the horizon.

My experience of developers is that 'public consultation' is meaningless. But it doesn't have to be this way. Coproduction with those who know what's needed locally is pragmatic.

Priority: Push for the improved maintenance & retrofitting of social housing to bring greater comfort, reduce energy consumption/bills & avoid unnecessary demolition.

The councils & housing associations have let many estates fall into disrepair, which is unfair & unsustainable.

Priority: Endeavour to learn where in Merton & Wandsworth marginalisation & inequality of opportunity are most pronounced, with the aim of making the area more inclusive.

In particular, disabled people, older people & those on low incomes face many barriers. We can do better!

Priority: Confront the need to reduce congestion & improve safety & air quality by pursuing funding opportunities to provide better infrastructure for walking, wheeling & cycling.

Merton has just 2.1km of cycleways; Wandsworth, just 10.6km. By contrast, Westminster has 26.4km.

If 'Labour wants to see a system that allows disabled people to live independently' they should back a system that ends social care charges, which lead to debt , mental distress and withdrawal from care. In other words, they should back the Green Party.
