On this 3rd May 2021, the very sad news on passing on of the former Executive Secretary of the Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration was on air. He was born on 13 February 1950 and he died in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo on the 3rd May 2021.

The GVTC under the NICHE 3C project of NUFFIC has strengthened capacity in partners ITFC (Uganda), INES (Rwanda) and OVG (DR Congo) for improved conservation of the Greater Virunga Landscape.
