Mitchell Parker has had one of the worst defensive seasons for a pitcher I’ve seen. I just hope he hasn’t lost all confidence and we aren’t in yips territory where he won’t be able to fix some of his issues this offseason. Fielding, throwing, it has all been a mess defensively.

Relievers are almost never considered high-end prospects. That said, Brzykcy has a chance to be a big part of the Nats bullpen for years to come. Could even end up pitching in high leverage spots if he maxes out on his potential. I really like the combo of demeanor/ stuff.

For like the 9th straight year, I'm sitting in my house in early September watching a Power 5 school look awful on offense with DJ Uiagalelei pulling the strings at QB. College football is back, baby!

Lamar Jackson's average depth of target is barely over a yard and he's run 10 times already tonight. Not a sustainable model for the Ravens offense. They've got to open things up and throw the ball down the field at some point. Or just like 10 yards from the line of scrimmage.

The season opener came down to one inch. Literally. This sport is the best. What a drug.

First thoughts on Chiefs 27, Ravens 20. 🏈 Football's amazing. 🏈 Lamar won't last 17 games running that much. 🏈 Kelce was quiet. 🏈 Likely was incredible. 🏈 Pacheco plays so hard. 🏈 Lamar missed too many throws. 🏈 Rashee Rice's slant game: On point. That was fun.

Considering two good QBs are playing, that was a really poorly quarterbacked half. This throw was brutal.

Jordan Love was just helped off the field after writhing in intense pain & grabbing at his foot/ankle. Scary looking injury. Hopefully he’s OK. Love being hurt would be a massive bummer for GB and the NFL. One of the league’s ascending QB stars. Hope he dodged a bullet there.

Sloppy game. Probably just have to dismiss it as weird because it was international and the field conditions were bad. That said, feels like the kind of win that gives you a lot of lingering concerns if you’re an Eagles fan. Hurts and the Philly defense played losing ball.
