I went to the Troubadour for the first time when I was 16 to go to a show, dreaming of the day I’d be able to go to concerts for a living. And now here I am, back to cover a show as a part of my master’s thesis?!? Life truly doesn’t feel real.

Home for the holidays calls for watching my hometown’s city council meeting on live TV like it’s an episode of Parks and Recreation. Fights have already broken out, the word slander has been thrown around a ton, and even the positive people are angry. Happy holidays everyone.

If there was ever a moment that should be immortalized in a coming-of-age movie about my life it would be me writing my master’s thesis in my childhood bedroom surrounded by the artifacts of my music filled youth. Finally reaching the home stretch of a very long year. 🥹

Let this serve as a notice that I will be unable to function for the foreseeable future because Harry Styles waved at me several times and held prolonged eye contact with me last night and I won’t be able to think about anything else. Enjoy this video of one of the waves. 🫠
