What if this was a train station again? And people coming to/returning home to Seattle could make a transfer here? It’d feel like we were a real city…with heritage and a real transit system.

In our car-centric society (US), pedestrian malls have not proven themselves in the past - in cities of all scales. We just don’t have the density to support ped malls. But would love to see that change.

We need all types of housing. And we need thousands more affordable homes. Building more housing for all income levels means that those who can afford no longer have to “rent down” freeing up those homes to be rented by those who can afford them.
