Today, I put my first plants in at my new house. I planted lavender & lemon thyme in a section of the yard by my door. Using thyme as my ground cover as it’s ability to spread will be useful in the space but the driveway & sidewalk to the door will block it from the yard.

FYI Gardeners and Yard Enthusiasts: Home Depot is doing the 1.5 cubic foot bags of mulch (brown, black, or red) for $2.00 a bag sale again. It’s a phenomenal price and good quality chippies.
