You can run. You can try to hide. You can't get away from PD Donnie. After a pursuit 2 suspects made off into dense woodland. Within minutes of his arrival PD Donnie located both attempting to hide in the undergrowth. Drugs and weapons recovered inside the abandoned vehicle.

#ARREST | Following a pursuit from our Transport Unit in #Bury, a vehicle crashed and two men fled into a wooded area. Upon searching the vehicle, a quantity of suspects drugs and weapons were found.

Determined PD Daisy wasn't letting a suspect who made off from a pursuit evade her. Guiding her handler through woodland and fields PD Daisy located the male hiding behind a fence. Fantastic work by the team and another in custody for several offences.

PD Rocky was a busy XD last night. Team Rocky went to two separate business breaks. On attendance PD Rocky has located a suspect hiding at both of the breaks. Excellent result for the team on their 1st set of independent shifts 🐾🐾🐾

A Burglary just occurred with suspects making off. suspects spotted minutes later on e-bikes in the area, 1 male being detained by division. The 2nd male tracked & found hiding in bushes by XD Xena. CCTV footage has later confirmed it to be them who committed the burglary 🐾🐾🐕

With his pending retirement, PD Bren is determined to go out on a high. Last night Bren used all his guile, to locate 2 suspects who had made off from a 🚗. 2 located up a tree, drugs located. Then tracking & detaining a suspect for breaking a woman’s jaw. Great work Bren 🐾🐾

Off road bikes are real nuisance, within our communities. Pd Xena was out on patrol with her handler, when he spotted two males in balaclavas, the males jumped on a motorcycle before being blocked in. The males made off 🏃‍♂️ with Xena in hot pursuit . One detained & in custody 🐾

Pd Nova Ready for, action. Nova and her handler put their tracking skills to full use. After a pursuit of a 🚗 the occupant abandoned and fled on foot. PD Nova in hot pursuit tracked the suspect and located them hiding - yes you guessed it, in a bush. Great work 1 in custody

Well Barney is off to a flying start GMP’s digital detection dog hasn’t had a chance to settle in - with numerous requests for searches. Today the Met requested a search in GMP for a phone in a fraud case. No joy with the search teams - Barney was deployed phone located🐾🐾

Following burglaries and attempts in Oldham, divisional officers sighted suspect and gave chase through gardens. PD Axle then tracked and detained suspect hiding under a car. Arrested for going equipped to steal and was also wanted for other offences Top work team 🐾🐾🐾

A violent suspect, kept on returning to an address and causing considerable damage, putting the occupant in fear. Local officers sighted and chased the offender, bring on team Donnie who sighted the fleeing offender. Donnie was too quick in pursuit-1 in custody 🐾🐾

Happy Retirement to PD Holly and her handler PC Nelly. PD Holly was a Explo detection dog, and served GMP with distinction. PD Nelly a real character 23 years on GMP dogs, and will be greatly missed. Have a happy and healthy retirement ♥️🐾

Reports of a possible burglary, turned out to be suspects- breaking into a cannabis farm. Divisional patrols attended and detained 2 in the commission of the offence. PD Kyp attended and tracked the 3rd, who was brought down to earth from the top of a fence.🐾🐾

A team of Burglar’s were out on Sirons in the Upper Mill area. TVIU and XD made to the area, TVIU sighted a Mercedes that had just been stolen. A short pursuit before the occupants fled on foot. After a lengthy track PD Kyp tracked & located 1 of the suspects. Great work team🐾

Double trouble 👿 PD’s Anubis and Axel came together, to catch a team of suspects that hade made off from TVIU. Axel was first out of the traps and detained 1 of the fleeing suspects. PD Anubis then tracked and located another, both arrested for multiple offences 🐾🐾 Great work

What a find by PD Xena. A suspect had escaped , who was wanted for multiple offences. The suspect climbed into a secure Scout site. PD Xena located the male and reminded him it’s for Scouting not messing about in One on his way back to prison, and Xena with a search badge 🐾🐾
